Aircraft departed Hardwick Aerodrome, Norfolk, England on 5 March 1945, assigned to the 93rd Bomb Group, 409th Bomb Squadron. The aircraft flew over a plane into a protected zone and was shot down into the sea. Last known location was near Clacton, England. Aircraft serial number and type were not recorded in the MACR. Eight crew members were aboard with no passengers.
