§ Biography
T/Sgt. Robert S. Lee served as radio operator aboard B-24J 42-109618. He was reported missing in action on 4 November 1944 and annotated killed in action on the MACR cover sheet.
His body was recovered from the Jadebusen on 12 November 1944. His identification tag (serial recorded as 16060729 in German documents versus 18060729 on the MACR, likely a transcription error) was transmitted to Evaluation Center West per KU-3294. Burial at Garrison Cemetery Wittsund is confirmed.
