Orval Nickelson.

1st Lt. Orval H. Nickelson served as co-pilot on B-24D 41-23732 on the 16 April 1943 mission to Brest. He was among the three survivors who parachuted from the stricken aircraft. He was captured and held as a prisoner of war, and was later returned to duty.
