Born April 25, 1923 in Jersey City, NJ. Joined the USAAF on Dec. 20, 1942. Trained at Kirtland Field (Class 43-11, bombardier wings) and Navigation School at Monroe, LA.
Separated Oct. 22, 1945 as first lieutenant. Received Distinguished Flying Cross and Air Medal with five Oak Leaf Clusters. Recalled for Korean conflict, served at HQ 32nd Air Division (Defense), Syracuse, NY as division controller; separated 1953 as major. Graduated from Penn State University in 1947. Managing partner of Seligman, Friedman & Company P.C. (York, Harrisburg, Lancaster, PA). Chairman, Penn State York Advisory Board; chairman, Susquehanna Valley Regional Airport Authority; chairman, Air Transportation Authority of York County; former president, Penn State Nittany Lion Club Advisory Council. Family includes wife Nancy and children Donald, Michael, Barbara, and Stephen.
