§ Biography
S/Sgt. Matthew R. Pelczar was a crew member aboard B-24H 42-94153 with the 330th Bombardment Squadron, 93rd Bomb Group. He was listed as missing following the loss of his aircraft on the 13 June 1944 mission to Vannes, France.
His next of kin was his father, Mr. John Pelczar, 5437 West Drummond Place, Chicago, Illinois. He is buried at Brittany American Cemetery.
