2nd Lt. Mario R. Ginetti (serial number O-717646) was a crew member of B-24 serial 42-99949 assigned to the 328th Bombardment Squadron, 93rd Bomb Group.
Ginetti was initially reported missing in action on 21 September 1944 following the mid-air collision over Belgium. He was subsequently confirmed killed in action on 21 September 1944 per European Theater of Operations Casualty Shipment 143. Burial was made at Flanders Field American Cemetery, Belgium, on 24 September 1944.
