Kenneth V. Ehrhart.

T/Sgt. Kenneth V. Ehrhart served as nose turret gunner aboard B-24J 42-110081 on the 19 June 1944 mission to Politz, Germany. His surname is misspelled 'Barhart' on the next-of-kin notification page due to an OCR error; the MACR crew list clearly reads 'Ehrhart.'

After the aircraft was hit and the bail-out order given, Ehrhart was positioned near the nose wheel door. He exited the aircraft when the wing separated, but he was not found in the wreckage and was not among the seven parachutes counted by pilot Lt. Brown after his own chute opened. German personnel later informed Brown that Ehrhart was dead. His status on the MACR is listed as 'Det. Dead' (Determined Dead). His next of kin was his mother, Mrs. Lula M. Rasmussen, of Palmer, Alaska.
