§ Biography
1st Lt. Kenneth D. Baughman served as navigator on B-24D 41-23732, 409th Bomb Squadron, 93rd Bomb Group, on the 16 April 1943 mission to Brest.
Killed in action on 16 April 1943 when the aircraft was lost near Isle D'Ouessant (Ushant) off the coast of Brittany, following an enemy fighter attack. Three crew members parachuted and survived; Baughman was not among them.
