James Bolton Pass was listed as a passenger (supercargo) aboard B-24J 42-100416 on the 18 September 1944 supply mission to Eindhoven. His name on the MACR appears as Pass, Bolton, James, indicating that Bolton James were his given names and Pass his surname; the full name has been reconstructed as James Bolton Pass.
His rank is recorded as Private. The status column notation in the MACR is ambiguous, but Missing in Action is the recorded determination.
