T/Sgt. Idus F. Coleman served as radio operator of B-24D 41-23729, 328th Bomb Squadron, 93rd Bomb Group. He was reported missing following a diversion mission on 18 October 1943. His correct first name is Idus; an OCR error in the main MACR form renders it as "John," but the next-of-kin notification list confirms the correct name.
His father, Mr. Idus F. Coleman, was listed as next of kin at Panacea, Florida. He is buried at Netherlands American Cemetery.
