§ Biography
Sergeant Fred Monico served with the 330th Bombardment Squadron, 93rd Bomb Group. He was found dead at the crash site of a Liberator near Pressoir, France. His identification tag was recovered and forwarded to the Air Force Prisoner of War Camp at Chartres by German authorities. The bodies at the crash site were described as completely charred.
