§ Biography
2nd Lt. Floyd F. Ramsey served as pilot of B-24D 42-41004 in the 329th Squadron, 93rd Bomb Group. He was reported missing in action on November 13, 1943 during a bombing mission to Bremen, Germany. The MACR for the loss was compiled on January 2, 1944 and lists the cause as unknown.
Ramsey's aircraft was observed still in formation at 1118 hours and was last seen at approximately 1130 hours at position 53 degrees 47' N, 07 degrees 55' E, banking to the right as if aborting the mission. No further information about his fate was recorded in the MACR.
