Military locations and stations included Lowry Field, Denver; Jefferson Barracks, St. Louis; Panama City, FL; Laredo, TX. Participated in battles in Europe.
Most memorable experience was coming home from a mission in 1945 and dropping four or five 250s through bomb bay doors onto the runway in front of several hundred men welcoming the boys home.
Discharged in April 1946 with rank of captain. Received the Air Medal and Battle of Europe.
