§ Biography
The bombardier, 2nd Lt. C.J. Guzikowski (O-741510), served aboard the 93rd Bomb Group, 328th Squadron aircraft that crash-landed near Amersfoort on 30 January 1944.
Before the crash landing, Guzikowski jettisoned the bombsight over the Zuiderzee and moved behind the pilot with the navigator for the landing.
Guzikowski was reported as a prisoner of war on the crew questionnaire. No further details regarding the circumstances of his capture are provided in the E&E report. He was not part of the evading group that escaped with Killian and Schultz.
