Flown by pilot Harold J. Killian on the January 30, 1944 Brunswick mission (the Circus's 100th mission), the aircraft was hit by flak, lost engines progressively, dropped its bombs on a rail yard, and crash-landed wheels-up near the Zuider Zee, Netherlands. No crew members were injured in the landing.
