The Ship
Satan's Chariot was lost on the June 21, 1944 mission to the Daimler-Benz Aero Engine Works at Genshagen, near Berlin. Tail-gunner James McMahon, who made a point of avoiding aircraft with ominous names, regarded both Satan's Chariot and The Devil's Messenger as hexed ships.
