Lieutenant Clair Mullin's ship (Number 969), flown by pilot Joseph Mitchell's crew for 15 missions; collided with Naughty Nan while climbing near Inglemunster, Belgium September 21, 1944. Entire crew killed; wing cut off the other ship's tail section.
