The Ship
Piccadilly Commando was flown to England in July 1944 and briefly assigned to the 489th Bomb Group's 844th Squadron before transferring to the 93rd, where she served with the 328th Squadron and then the 329th Squadron. She later transferred to the 448th Bomb Group's 712th Squadron and was lost over Germany on March 25, 1945, under pilot Knute P. Stalland. MACR 13548.
