“Hangar Queen”

Hangar Queen was originally assigned to the 446th Bomb Group's 704th Squadron but was transferred to the 93rd's 328th Squadron before ever flying a combat mission. She served there until April 1944, when she was transferred to the 2nd Combat Crew Replacement Center at Cheddington. She was declared war-weary and salvaged on September 22, 1944.
