“Eager Beaver”

Eager Beaver appears as one of three 93rd Liberators depicted returning from a mission in a painting commissioned by Rollin Reineck, shown alongside Jerk's Natural and Shoot Luke; the caption credits Elmer Rhinehart as her pilot. The aircraft is also named among the Liberators circling Alconbury for landing after the October 9, 1942 raid on the Fives-Lille Steel & Locomotive Works, though no individual account of that mission survives in the record.

She was transferred to the 446th Bomb Group's 704th Squadron, where she became that group's first formation assembly ship and was renamed Fearless Freddie. She cracked up in October 1944.
