0:00 / 0:00
Glenn D. Thompson was a crew member aboard a B-24 Liberator that was lost on the 13 June 1944 mission to Vannes, France. He was found dead at the crash site near Pressoir, France by German authorities, his identification tag recovered and forwarded to the Air Force Prisoner of War Camp at Chartres.
German records note that the bodies at the crash site were completely charred. Thompson was killed in action and did not survive the crash.
The sorties below are those we have been able to document for this airman, drawn from flight logs, mission records, and archival sources. It is not necessarily a complete account of every mission flown; gaps may reflect missing documentation, transferred assignments, or records lost to time.
