Albert P. Deshazo
Sgt. Albert F. DeShazo Jr. served as tail gunner on the crew lost on 20 June 1944 over Germany. His mother, Mrs. Annie E. DeShazo, resided at Route Number Six, Box 14, Birmingham, Alabama.
A German telegram (KU 2260) from Air Port HQ A(O) 6/III Stettin named 'Albert Desharso' (a phonetic German transcription of DeShazo) among the six crew members killed in the 20 June 1944 crash. His identification card (serial 34708766, T 43-44 A.P.) was found in the wreckage.
