Smith’s 147-M took off at 08:30, dropped on the lead at Koblenz at 12:00 from 22,000 feet on a heading of 350 degrees, and landed at Hardwick at 14:50. The crew carried twelve 500-pound GPs and two smoke bombs. Results were 9½/10, unobserved. They reported no flak and no enemy aircraft. Fighter support was called good. A camera was carried. T/Sgt.
