§ Biography

T/Sgt. Winsor H. Beebe served as radio operator. His next of kin was his mother, Mrs. Gladys W. Beebe, of 16 White Street, Wakefield, Massachusetts.

Beebe bailed out on 25 February 1944 and was captured by German forces in the Dahn/Pirmasens area. His identification tag number was 31133637. He was held in Dahn and was sent to Pirmasens by an early train on 27 February 1944 under guard of POW detail #1502, slightly later than the rest of the captured crew.
