William W. McKelvey, serial number T-190580, served as aircraft commander of B-24D 42-40627 with the 93rd Bombardment Group. His aircraft was lost on 9 July 1943, and he was subsequently the subject of a Missing Air Crew Report.
McKelvey is referenced in endorsement correspondence dated January through March 1944 in connection with the Missing Air Crew Report process. The surviving pages of this file do not record his ultimate fate or status at the end of the war.
