§ Biography

2nd Lt. Vern C. Brown served as co-pilot of B-24H 42-94153 with the 330th Bombardment Squadron, 93rd Bomb Group. He was listed as missing following the loss of his aircraft on the 13 June 1944 mission to Vannes, France, the date of his death.

His next of kin was his wife, Mrs. Irma Delle S. Brown, 1003 North Cedar Street, Glendale, California. He is buried at Brittany American Cemetery. The MACR narrative identifies him as 'Vern G. Brown,' though his middle initial in the current record is C.
