T/Sgt. Roy Horwitz (no middle initial) served as radio operator aboard B-24L 44-49573, 329th Bomb Squadron, on 23 March 1945.

Listed as MIA on the original MACR. No surviving crew member reported seeing him after the crash. Eyewitness accounts from the deputy lead crew describe the aircraft as completely engulfed in flames before impact. Status: KIA.
