S/Sgt. Raymond L. Trimble served as radio operator on B-24J 42-50679, 409th Bomb Squadron, on the 28 January 1945 Dortmund mission. Born 24 November 1917, Dayton, Ohio.
Bailed out after the aircraft was hit by flak over the target. Captured and sent to Dulag Luft West. Returned to duty.
