§ Biography

S/Sgt Milton H. Underdahl served as radio operator in the 330th Bomb Squadron, 93rd Bomb Group. Born 26 May 1921 in Drady, Ward County, North Dakota.

On 21 September 1944, his B-24H (#42-94969) collided in mid-air with another B-24J (#42-99949) during a bombing mission to Koblenz, Germany, crashing near Ingelmunster, Belgium. He was killed in the collision.

Awarded the Air Medal and Purple Heart.
