S/Sgt. Michael Doka (listed in the report as 'Mike Doka') served as tail gunner on the 1 August 1943 Ploesti mission with the 329th Bomb Squadron, 93rd Bomb Group.
His fate after the aircraft was downed was listed as unknown by T/Sgt. Reed. Reed made no specific mention of observing or hearing about Doka's condition after the aircraft went down.
