Served in England with the 93rd Bomb Group and the 389th Bomb Group. Flew all battles in Europe, including two missions on D-Day and six of seven missions to the Berlin area. Lead crew equipped with Mickey (H2X radar).

After the War

Discharged July 1945 as captain (lead crew with Mickey equipment). Received five Air Medals and two Distinguished Flying Crosses. Married, five children. Retired stock broker.
