§ Biography
F/O John A. Techet served as co-pilot on B-24J 42-50679, 409th Bomb Squadron, on the 28 January 1945 Dortmund mission. Born 19 May 1921, New York City.
After the aircraft was hit by flak, Techet was among the last to bail out, motioning navigator Jaffe out before jumping himself. Captured and taken to Dulag Luft West. Returned to duty.
