Before the War

Born July 18, 1922 in Enough, MO. Enlisted in USAAF on Nov. 11, 1942. Stationed at Miami Beach, FL; Gulfport, MS; Kingman, AZ.

After the War

Discharged Oct. 9, 1945 as staff sergeant. Received Distinguished Flying Cross, Air Medal with five Oak Leaf Clusters, and Presidential Unit Citation with one Oak Leaf Cluster. One daughter, one son, three grandchildren. Retired after a massive heart attack in 1977.
