§ Biography
Cpl. Farris E. Williams served as tail gunner, 409th Bomb Squadron, 93rd Bomb Group. On 31 March 1945, his B-24J 42-51241, piloted by 2nd Lt. Marvin L. Tucker, collided in mid-air with B-24 42-50907 during assembly for a mission to the Brunswick marshalling yards, near Stamford, England. All nine men aboard 42-51241 were killed.
