§ Biography

S/Sgt. Elmer G. Krummert served as waist gunner aboard B-24J 42-50606 on the 12 October 1944 mission to Osnabruck.

Krummert was killed when the aircraft was shot down. A supplementary German report (Casualty No. KU 3161, dated 5 January 1945) confirms he was dead and interred at the Prisoner of War Cemetery, Achmer, Grave 116.
