S/Sgt. David B. Ziff, born 23 February 1922, served as ball turret gunner. His next of kin was his father, Mr. Victor Ziff, of 319 7th Street, Philipsburg, Pennsylvania.

Ziff bailed out on 25 February 1944 and was captured by German forces in the Dahn/Pirmasens area. His identification tag number was 13084526. He was among the nine fliers captured by 27 February 1944 and was transported to Dulag Luft.
