The Ship
Known as both The Duchess and Evelyn, this aircraft carried Major Ramsey D. Potts, Jr., leading the 2nd Circus force, on the low-level Ploesti raid of August 1, 1943 and survived. She was lost over Germany on February 25, 1944, under pilot David W. Thompson. MACR 2924.
